Central Iowa Energy Update November 10, 2006

Greetings from Central Iowa Energy!

Perfect construction weather earlier this week turned to into a few snowflakes today, but didn’t slow down the progress. Piping work is nearly complete in the process area. The lab and support areas are being framed and roughed in. Tank construction and pre-treatment equipment installation continues to progress on schedule. Overall, the project is going very well.

  • T&S:     
    Continue hydro testing inside and in tank farm, pour waste water footings,  weld insulation rods and clips on water tank, set bridges.
     
  • Story:    
    Set fans in boiler area, continue work on: waste water, maintenance and admit trim and downspouts, siding Utility room.
     
  • M & W: 
    Continuing piping in: Process, FFA and Pre-treat piping.
     
  • Interstate: 
    Lighting in Process, warehouse and MCC room, boiler room.
     
  • Skinner: 
    Install handrail on water tank, continuing work on tank 2.
     
  • Trackmaster
    Continuing track south of road.
     
  • Yeager
    Support building plumbing.
     
  • Midwest Fencing: 
    Hanging chain link and fabricating gates.
     
  • Winbco
    Installed handrail on tanks 7, 8 & 14.
     
  • Jensen
    Continue laying brick to Admit building.
     
  • ICE
    Insulate tanks inside Process.
     
  • Anderson Construction
    Continuing installing studs and drywall in Support and Control room.
     
  • Teeters
    Sandblast water tank.
     
  • Continental
    Continue installation in FFA, Pretreat and utility areas.
     
  • Holland
    Rock parking lot and roads, rock areas around scale and Admit building.
     
  • Infrasource
    Install gas line to admit.
