Work done at the site this week includes:

  • Continued to dig and pour piers for piping racks
  • Built shelves in maintenance building
  • Alliant Energy installed switch gear
  • Temporary electrical panels were hooked-up
  • Several vessels were set in the process area
  • Water & sewer lines began to be run under rail and towards water pump house
  • Ran electrical to the load-out area, main runs transformer to MCC and electrical to the tank farm area
  • Set drains
  • Set block for load-out building
  • Installed floor grating
  • Tested compaction in rail area
  • Continued running underground pipe and conduit in pre-treatment area
  • Grouted 2nd floor of the pre-cast building
  • Put roof on pre-cast building
  • Built top tower for process building
  • Erected steel canopy for truck load/unload
  • A large amount of sand and concrete was delivered, placed and poured (Process, pre-treat and pre-cast buildings)
    • Additionally, all underground electrical conduit is covered with a thick layer of concrete
  • Building materials continue to be delivered daily
