Central Iowa Energy Update December 8, 2006

Greetings from Central Iowa Energy.

A significant milestone was reached this week when the last tankfarm tank to be completed passed its hydro test.  Now only piping and insulating remains in the tankfarm.  The railroad tracks are also nearing completion with only the crossings and ballast left to install.

Work done at the site includes:

  • T&S:
    Build port-a-john house, move water to last tank & hydro test, pour RO pad in boiler room and curbs for warehouse, set bents, finished bridges for pipe rack, finished welding insulation supports on all large tanks.
     
  • Story:
     Sheet waste water building, work on windows and stairs in admit.
     
  • M & W:
    Continuing piping in: pipe rack, process and tank farm, load-out bridges and rail area, pipe rack meth area, utility rooms, punch list in process area, air tests in process.
     
  •  Interstate:
     Continue wiring in process, support, boiler room, pump house and pretreat.
     
  • Skinner:
    Continuing work on tanks.
     
  • Trackmaster:
    Finished with switch to main rail on south side, start ballast and leveling ties on North side.
     
  • Yeager:
    Continue plumbing admit basement and dig trench for HCL.
     
  • ICE:
    Insulate tank inside and outside.
     
  • Anderson Construction:
    Continue to tape and mud control room and load-out areas.
        
  • Teeters:
    Paint pipe brackets in FFA area and process.
