Central Iowa Energy Update December 22, 2006

Greetings from Central Iowa Energy.

Tank construction is winding down with only two small tanks left to construct.  Most all of the concrete work is done in the tankfarm.  Heat tracing and insulating is well underway in the tankfarm and process building.  Rail work is on target to be complete by mid-January.  Electrical work is ramping up in pretreat and boiler room.

Work done at the site includes:

  • T&S:
    Set scale & pour pans, work on bag house silica, install packing in 605 vessel, clean-up and level ruts on site, continue work on HCL trench, install scale light post, pour tank farm pads, install hist in pretreat.
  • M&W:
    Continuing piping in: pipe rack, process and tank farm, utility, load-out bridges and rail area, pipe rack meth area, utility rooms, punch list in process area, working in all areas, start hydro in pretreat.
     
  • Interstate:
    Continue wiring in pretreat & boiler room, outside wiring.
     
  •  Skinner:
    Continuing welding meth tanks & stairs.
     
  • Trackmaster:
    Tie rail in at driveway.
     
  • Yeager:
    Work on sewer line by road, continue work on admit & control room plumbing.
     
  •  Anderson Construction:
    Continue admit & support area drywall.
     
  • Teeters:
    Paint handrail, pipe brackets.
     
  • KCS:
    Insulate windows, foam fill around windows.
