Central Iowa Energy Update December 1, 2006

Greetings from Central Iowa Energy.

Winter has definitely arrived with frigid temperatures the past couple of days, but all of the snow has missed us and the weather has not impacted construction activities. Additional shop-fabricated tanks arrived this week and the tank farm is definitely taking shape. Electrical work and insulating are the primary activities in the process building while mechanical installation work is in full swing in the pre-treatment area. Framing and sheet-rocking continues in the admin building and support areas.

  • Interstate: 
    Wiring in Pre-treat, MCC room and boiler room
     
  • Skinner: 
    continuing work on tanks
     
  • Trackmaster: 
    Continuing track south of road
     
  • Yeager: 
    Continue plumbing admit area
     
  • ICE: 
    install cables & insulate tanks
     
  • Anderson Construction:
    Continuing installing studs and drywall in admit building, drywall
     
  • Teeters: 
    Painting railing
